This drawing is a drawing I have been working on a little over a month. It really took me a long time as it was important for me to get it just right + it's in colour, not my strongest side.
I originally intended the background to be darker but somehow it didn't and I am happy about it as it has this in-between mood now. Grey and almost rainy. I really love this state as I am rather fond of rain, something relieving about it. I used myself as model for his piece but really did my best to make it not look like me. I think I succeeded this time. The rose is a plastic rose I am having in my living room. I struggled quite a bit on the hands, I think it took me 2 hours alone to do the hands and rose. The dress is partly made up. I had this sleeveless shirt which I wore but I wanted her dress to be long and with big sleeves to make her look a little fantasy like. Overall I feel very happy with this drawing as it turned out pretty much as I wished for.
