This drawing is dedicated to a very special person, Matt Johnson :heart:

I have to post this though it’s not done, cause time is running out and I might not be able to finish it for him. 2 days ago one of my dear friends went for a cancer treatment, he has brain cancer. His name is Matt, he’s 30 and has a 6 y.o. kid. He’s one of those persons that put others above him and he is such a loving and caring person. He really is an angel on earth. Although I never met him in real life, cause he lives in USA and I here in Denmark, I feel I know him so well and I know that his soul is so beautiful and rare.

I got to know him some years back when he ordered a portrait of his cute son Brayden. He was such a kind person and we kept in contact, which I normally don’t. But this guy was amazing, so full of life and hope, despite his illness. I learned he had struggled with cancer through some time. During the time I talked with him he had been through cancer treatments quite a bit. Last time they thought he was finally all well and he was living a happy life for some time. Then suddenly, not long ago it came back. And 2 days ago he went for a treatment.. he hasn't woken up since :(

This drawing was going to be a drawing dedicated to him, symbolising the ‘beauty in sickness’, representing him and at the same time representing the angel looking over for him.

I ask of you to please keep him in your mind and wish him well. I believe it’s not his time. He has so much to live for and so much more beauty to share to this world, he’s not meant to leave yet.
I know you don’t know him at all, but I really feel so helpless right now and it would mean a lot to me.
I started this drawing quite some time ago and I never showed him, I wanted it to be a surprise. I really hope I get the chance to give it to him.

amazing start, the textures are so smooth nice work and i hope you finish it in time sorry for your friend.

Still this is looking amazing all the same and i cant wait to see the finished piece.

That's beautiful, and very deep. Theres something about it that really speaks out. The shades are awsome. I am sorry about him, he sounds like a strong and happy person, I will keep him in prayers if you like.

If it's not his time, it's not his time. It's a beautiful drawing and it sounds like it's for beautiful man.
I'm sure he'll get to see it, but if he doesn't, I think he'd know somehow. I'm not very religious, I think spiritual would be a better word. I have a hard time writing this because I dont know you and I cant see it helping, but with all your drawings of angels and everything, Id like to think that you might have some faith. If so, then theres gotta be a part of you that believes either way, he will see this and he will know just how much you care about him and everything. I send this on the offchance that it means something to you.
I wish him well.

I hope everything works out for Matt. I don't really pray so I'll cross my fingers instead. This image is really beautiful and it wouldn't be right for him to not see it.

oh no, I cried a little :tears: how sad, I hope he gets to see this drawing. Its really beautiful, one of the things I really admire about your work is how inspiring it is, it isnt just a realistic drawing with no emotion, or just a regular drawing...it has life and a story behind it, and a lot of artists lack that. I wish him well :(

amazing drawing as always but i have to say there is something here thats not normally present in ur work which really stands out here ... i love it and im sure he will to when he gets to see it ... coz he will :) :hug: xx
