Artist's Comments
This was a drawing I did based on a poll I had on my website about which female celeb people would like to see drawn. 1775 people voted, Avril Lavigne won with 25 %, which is quite a lot I think. So, here she is again 
I decided to do a little different non-posed drawing of her as I feel she looks more natural and it brings out her beauty more. I used a photo of her sitting in a car as base for my drawing. It wasn't the best quality so I had to improvise a bit.
I worked a lot on this drawing, to give everything the right depth. I chose to do it in pencil as I want to be better at pencil drawings and I didn't do many of these last year.
I feel happy with the outcome of my drawing. She always have been difficult for me to get just right around the mouth area. She has a difficult mouth to draw for some reason.
Anyway, I hope you like it.
