Just a little something I decided to start last night and finished a few minutes ago. I really felt the urge to draw with my pastels again as I had this dream of an image. This was not it, I will start the drawing I dreamt of shortly. I wanted to do a few drawings before the planned one as it's been a while since I did pastels and I want it to be close to perfect once I start the drawing.

I feel happy with the outcome of this drawing, I used this photo: [link] as reference. As you can see I replaced the knife with the feathers. I wanted the dark and light feathers to represent the choices you sometimes get in life, whether it be small or bigger things.

The black baground took a very long time to get all black, but I managed to make it all black in the end. I feel this drawing is somewhat different to what I normally draw, perhaps because there is no big dreamy hair?^^
