Ok, so as for me this is the best
eye tutorial out there. Tryed many else
and really yours is the easyest if that's even
the right word and it covers up everything it should.
...only wish hands would be so easy to draw ;P

Did you use an eraser to get the white highlight in step three, or is it paint?

Very very helpful. I am very grateful for this as I am a beginner artist (if I can even call myself that haha, I really don't think that I'm much other than an elaborate doodler =D)

This a very beautiful & informative tutorial~! I especially appreciate that you actually went "step-by-step" as others might find that mundane & omit things that they think is common knowledge. I will be bookmarking your site for future reference. ^^

Your tutorial is very helpful, but you call eyelashes eyelids, which was a bit confusing so you may want to change that

Thank you so much. This really helped me as a beginning artist. But I wonder, how do you keep the smudging you make with your fingers inbetween the lines?

You can buy different sized blending stumps [link] to blend pencil lines without having to use your fingers :)

Great work!

I'm just kind of confused on how you can get the reflections and highlights that way, even with the kneaded eraser. Whenever I use a kneaded eraser it just blobs and smudges and basically ruins my picture. xD If you can offer any help for my situation, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Wonderful work...it's amazing and incredibly realistic. The eye really does see like it's watery. Great work and keep it up!
