Description
This photo is from autumn 2006. I was playing with shadows and contrast. I like the expression and how the light falls in this one. It's also a little different from my usual self portraits.
The title has a special meaning. Around the time I took the photo I was listening a lot to Darker by Diary of Dreams. The song reminds me of that time of my life and when I look at this photo and other photos from the same day it's the first thing that comes to mind. It's weird how a song can affect you. In a way it also symbolises how I feel my life, my drawings and me as a person went that year - Darker.
It's taken with my digital Olympus D-580 camera. Afterwards my friend Brian has been playing with it in Photoshop.

Very nice. And i agree about music. I listen to music all the time. I listen to it when I write to set the mood for a certain scene I'm trying to write like a love scene or some other scene....and when I make my artwork or when I'm reading. Music and art are two big parts of my life I can't live without...
