Artist's Comments
This is the result of about 4 days of work. I was really dedicated to this drawing.
I really wanted her expression to be just right, which is a bit hard when working on smaller drawings. I changed her wings 4 times before finally feeling satisfied with the type of wings. To begin with I wanted to make her an angel but as the drawing progressed she fitted more as a fairy. I wanted to mainly keep the colours rather natural. The original is more pastel-like and a little more bright, as usual my scanner take a lot of the colours which is hard to give back exactly afterwards. I worked rather hard on making the tree look simple yet a bit realistic. So here she is, the daydreamer...
