Looks can be deceiving...

This is my first ball pen drawing in a very long time. I want to use it much more again. I did this one on regular printer paper as I didn't want to waste a piece of expensive paper should it end up bad. It's weird how easily you forget to use ballpen, was a bit hard in the beginning. The paper curled up as it was thin but you can't really tell on the scan.
The drawing is based loosely on a photo of my friend.

Made with ballpen.
29x17 cm.

Ball pen? Wow... Even with mundane materials, your work is still impressive!
I particularly like the curls in her hair on this one. They give it an otherworldly feel.

Amazing!.. I can't use pen at all as I have a tendency to make waaaaay too many mistakes.. i need to be able to erase...lol.. Beautiful detail!... Love it!
