When I saw this photo [link] of this very beautiful woman I had to do a drawing based on her face and expression. I gave her light hair as I thought it would be interesting and a little different. I feel very happy with the outcome of this drawing. It's been a while since I did a portrait in pencil. 2007 was definitely a year of pastel and charcoal for me but I want to use the graphite pencil more this year.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
