Artist's Comments
I am very happy with this drawing. It represents to me November 2007. It was the first snow I experienced with my love. I remember we were sitting in our old apartment, at night, (we lived at the 4th floor with a pretty nice view). Suddenly we looked out the window and the snow was falling. It was very early snow and it had something magic about it. I talked my boyfriend into going out and get wet. The snowflakes were so big and so soft, even though we live in the big city it all seemed very cosy and small - that feeling of home. It was just one of these moments that stuck in my mind and I can't help but smile when I think back on it.
With this drawing I wanted to portrait the feeling of snow, obviously. The soft beauty of the girl in a white snowscape.
