I started this drawing at the beginning of the year. It's been some work with all the small details. I've really liked creating this drawing. I posted some photos on my website around June, from a photoshop I did with a friend of mine, the beautiful Helena, Autumn 2006.
See the photoshoot here: [link] (in People, the middle ones) My drawing is based on one of my favourite photos from the shoot. It has this certain feeling and mood - a mix of happiness and peacefulness. The leaves was a real challenge to create. I haven't done many leaves before and I find them a little hard to get the right structure on. All in all I feel happy with the outcome of the drawing, it has a special meaning to me. Just simply beautiful.
I love how you put so much effort, soul and dedication in your pieces. This piece just automatically speaks for itself, it's very complex yet very simple (if that makes any sense, sorry if it doesn't!)
But otherwise, it's beautiful in every aspect. I love this one- A LOT. A lot!
