A new drawing of the handsome Sawyer from Lost. I used a huge amount of time on this drawing, yet I don't feel completely happy with the outcome. Not sure what it is. I wanted to throw it away but decided to finish it, making it as good as possible. I think it's that thing he has that I couldn't catch this time.
But here he is, done.

Made with soft coal.

This is so god i have no critic for you....the shading is excellent...teeth is fabulous everything perfect...its amazing how you get the detail just right!!!

I gotta say, looking over your stuff here, I'm really amazed and think you've got ridiculous amounts of talent. I think the thing that you goofed on here though, is a) as others have mentioned, his teeth are a bit off-center and b) Sawyer doesn't really smile with teeth and when he does smile, it's usually more of a smirk with closed lips. At the end of "The Long Con" episode, he looks at Charlie and says "I'm not a good person, Charlie. Never did a good thing in my life." That says a lot about how he views himself and the smile you gave him is like, a genuine, big, happy smile. Now, if you were going for a portrait of Josh Holloway, that might be quite different but if you're trying to portray Sawyer, you want a different, darker expression because when it comes down to it, he's pretty much the epitome of an anti-hero; not mr. sunshine. All that said, great work. You're fantastically talented and should be proud of yourself. =]

I hate to agree with you, but he is missing that something. It's increbibly good, but its almost like you couldn't quite get that mischievious air about him.

Apart from that, it is wonderful. I love how you did the stubble.

Yes you are very right, it doesn't have that special thing about him in my drawing. It was a bit sad for me to realise after all the work. But, if I draw him again it has to be better :D
