Melancholic Fairyby *Zindy

Traditional Art / Drawings / Fantasy

I finished the fairy. I gave it to my sister yesterday and she seemed very happy about it so it was worth it all. I think it took me around 20 hours. The most difficult thing about this drawing was definitely her fingers and face as they were so small. It’s really hard to do that with coal but I think it went alright in the end. The satin also took a long time, really really long time but I enjoyed doing it.
I used myself for the pose by the way...

You are simply amazaing!!!

The only question i have is, what are the wings made of? They almost look like bunches of hair. Not sure. Just kinda looks odd to me.

But even that doesn't detract from the image. It's still an amazingly realistic piece!!!
