Queen of the night

After completing Touch of summer I wanted to make something with the dark theme again. This time a vampire, but a sexy one
I so enjoyed doing this one. Didn't use a reference for it. I wanted the eyes to be very intense and sexy somehow. Like she is dragging you into her dangerous arms.
I didn't want to cover her up in blood, therefore I only added a little drop of blood, though she's probably be more messy after a meal.

I used light blue in her skin colour to try and make it look more pale and death but I think the skin still got a warm feel cause of the brown I used afterwards. Anyway, I just try and experiment a bit.
I tried to let go of the blue/grey background which I like to use and add a bright yellow with a touch of brown instead. I feel it fits better for the theme. The yellow is not as bright on this photo as it is on the original unfortunately.

Made with pastels and my black coal pencil for her eyelids.
