I felt it was time to do a pastel girl/face again, with black hair and broken. It's been a while since I did this type of drawings but I have to admit it is what I enjoy creating. Just something about it.
I used the beautiful Shai as model for my girl: [link]
When I saw the photo of her I thought it would be beautiful with running make-up and black hair. I wanted the ribbon around her wrist and neck to be special and add some detail to a simple look.
I had much fun creating everything on this one.

Made with soft pastels.
30x40cm (12x16")

Wow! This is really breathtaking and a dramatic piece which shows off your skills nicely! Contemplation of paths either taken or not is an interesting subject in itself, but you took it to a whole new artistic level with this one! Gorgeous deviation and Happy St. Patrick's Day! :)
