I started this drawing last night and finish it this morning and afternoon. It's based on a picture of Pauline; [link] I instantly loved it when she sent it to me, just something about the expression that is very appealing. I wanted to make something with a fantasy feel to it. If the drawing had been bigger I would have given her elf ears and transparent wings. As I drew more and more I could picture this as a fairy/elf girl, but the paper wasn't big enough. So that will be for another time. Again I used pastels. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
