When I look at this girl I feel as if she is holding on to a secret. A secret that makes her sad and vulnerable. She’s hiding something in those beautiful eyes of hers, something she can never tell. Because of she beauty she holds she can deceive you and makes sure who ever discovers her secret will “shh” about it forever…
That’s what I see, maybe you see something else

I used a photo of the beautiful Robin as my model. I love her look and when I saw this photo: [link] it really caught my eye, but I didn’t have an idea till yesterday, as I didn’t just want to draw it as it was, I wanted to make something special with it and with a meaning.
As you probably notice the photo of Robin is black and white which made it better for me in a way, I always find it hard to draw from colour photos and somehow it sparks the creativity. I tried opening her eyes a bit more than the original as it was rather hidden and I think the look in the girl’s eyes is rather important. I think I got a hint of sadness/unhappiness showing.

The drawing is made with pastels again, I am SO in love with those these days. I can just sit for hours and hours without thinking of anything else, it’s crazy.
With this drawing I tried to work on giving the skin more depth. I am working on another big big drawing of a dark girl in which I tried making the skin look very pale, I tried to make this one more warm. I will post the dark girl I am working on soon, just taking a very long time and I kind of don't want to finish it cause I love working on it.

The drawing is 30x40 cm /12x16 “, it’s not a scan but a photo as my scanner don’t handle colour drawings very well and I wanted to show the original as much as possible.
