Artist's Comments
While creating this drawing I felt it got a bit of a Christmas feel to it. I did most of the drawing in December and finished the last details in the beginning of the new year.
It was a time consuming drawing but I very much loved creating it. Since it's not that big I fought a bit with the smaller details, they weren't easy, especially the small flowers in her hair, her fingers and the features of her face. Reference: [link] I mainly used it for guidance of the body proportions. I originally intended for the drawing to be entered into Marcus' competition but I was too busy with the move in the middle of December and I have a feeling it wouldn't be a favourite since it doesn't resemble his model much.
