Artist's Comments
A drawing I did late at night(last week). It's been a little while since I worked with coal, cause I've been so into colour lately. It was nice to do coal again. I wanted to create a light fairy. If the paper had been bigger I would have given her big comforting angelwings. Since I started out on some smaller paper I decided to go with fairy wings instead and they seem to fit her well too.
I liked creating this very much, it's always a challenge to create something very light using coal. I used a photo of Robin again, however, it does not look like her. Perhaps a bit of her expression is still maintained, which those who know her might recognize.
