This drawing wasn't supposed to have happened So why did I do it? I was asked to do a specific scene from one of the movies, I did a quick search on google and stumbled across this amazing photo filled with emotions and sort of peace. I'm not a huge Twilight fan nor do I hate it. I'm kind of in between.
I've been meaning to train my portrait skills for a while as for the past years I have moved towards changing people's features rather than making it look like them and I don't want to lose the ability to do good portraits. Whenever I do commissions these days I feel it's harder to catch a likeness of a person and that's not good. I'm going to work on that.
This drawing is not perfect but I do think I was able to catch their likeness a bit better than my first attempt 2 years back.
After my recent colour work it was good to use charcoal again.
While I appreciate your opinions I ask that you do not make the comments a battle field of fans and haters. Hope you understand. All comments about the drawing itself - good or bad - are of course welcome as always.
You really nailed it with this one! You captured everything this picture is saying. Love and tenderness. And wow....you got Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison to look like a photograph here!!!
