You told me I was your angel
Yet You treated me like I was not...

With this one I wanted to try something a bit new, stylewise I mean. I tried to do something not so neat and smooth.. basically just let the pencil work fast and rough. I used a 2B pencil for this.
I wanted it to be simple yet powerful.
I really hope you like it. I will be making another one in this style, already started it.
Didn't have a reference for it, was just something I needed to get out of my head sort of.

40x30cm | 16x12"

The paradox of life is that throughout it you create your own prison by how you perceive reality... and then try to escape from it...

Wonderful design and pencil application! The crosshatching gives this piece a lot of energy!

This work would also be stunning in pastel or dry brush watercolor. I can see it in my mind's eye
