The ties of love

I've always found my biggest inspiration in the nature of love, love between friends, family and couples.
Love is what ties us all together. It's beautiful, melancholic, overwhelming and powerful.
Love is light and darkness at the same time and can switch at any given time.
Love is yours to keep and yours to give away.

The drawing is done over some weeks. It's a very personal drawing to me, one with a subject that has been on my mind a lot lately.
It's created with markers, pastels and colour pencils. It's been really great to do colour again as it's been a long time since I really dedicated myself to it.
